It’s a Goa!

Our route could change dramatically pending border/visa issues, what mood takes us and so-on but this is a vague idea:

South Asia 

We’re flying into Goa, then will travel around India, also visiting Sri Lanka. Hopefully we’ll be crossing into Nepal, then Tibet. We’d like to catch the train from Tibet to Beijing.

China 

We then hope to travel to Yantai before making our way round the Eastern coast of China to Shenzen, Hong Kong and Macau.

Far East 

We might have chance to visit Korea and Japan at this stage, however if not we may do this as a separate trip from Australia.

South-East Asia 

After China we will enter Vietnam and travel to Thailand through Laos.

After some time in Thailand, taking in Cambodia we’ll go to Malaysia and Singapore before finding our way to Austraia via Indonesia.

Australia

Hopefully arriving in Darwin, we hope to catch the Ghan to Adelaide via Alice Springs. We’ll probably then head to Melbourne where we know several people who’ve offered to let us sofa-surf at their place. We’ll be low on cash so intend to exercise our working visas in several locations throughout Australia - we’ll know when we get there.

Onwards

We’d like to visit New Zealand and Fiji while we’re in the area and depending on whether we manage to earn enough money and have the inclination, visit the Americas. If we missed out on Korea and Japan when in China, we’ll try to fly to those places from Australia.
