We’re doing loads of reading and we thought it’d be fun to share our opinions of the books we’re reading while we travel around.

If you want to buy any of the books we write about, you can’t go far wrong by visiting BookkooB or BookBrain which are search engines that find you the cheapest price on the net for whatever book you’re looking for. On the other hand you should use your local library as books are free to borrow!

Are you Dave Gorman? (Dave Gorman & Danny Wallace)

Pietch lent me this one, in exchange for Yes Man, before we left. It’s highly entertaining and made me laugh out loud several times, which is quite a feat for me as I’m rarely moved to laugh out loud at books and films. The co-writer, Danny Wallace (author of Yes Man) is certainly the stronger author and dominates the book with as much as three pages of text to one by Dave Gorman. Overall a great stupid-lads adventure with great attention to the small observaions one makes mentally but doesn’t share (which makes it all the funnier to read). I didn’t think it was as good as Yes Man but in future I’ll seek out the follow-up book, Dave Gorman’s Googlewhack Adventure as well as Danny Wallace’s earlier book, Join Me.
